Dangerous Fire Weather Conditions Continue 3-4-18

TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies overnight with winds staying blustery behind the passage of a cold front. Temperatures drop to the teens and 20s with winds still gusting in excess of 35 mph.

TOMORROW: While temperatures will be cooler and winds will be from the northwest, we will still be very dry with gusty winds. A Red Flag Warning is in place for Monday from 11 AM to 6 PM. Any activities that could spark a fire are once again strongly discouraged. Highs warm to the 40s and 50s with mostly sunny skies. Winds are still likely to gust to 40-50 mph.

EXTENDED: Winds will settle for Tuesday and Wednesday with temps remaining cooler and conditions staying dry. Temperatures mainly stay in the 40s to lower 50s for the plains and 30s over the mountains. Becoming breezy and warmer again starting Thursday with high temperatures back into the 50s and 60s for the plains. Friday & Saturday look windy and warm.
