PHOTOS: Colorado town disposes of Christmas trees with bonfire
A small town nestled in Colorado ski country doesn’t settle for recycling their Christmas trees into mulch; the residents use them as fuel for a celebratory bonfire.
The town of Frisco hosted its Spontaneous Combustion Bonfire & Fireworks event this past Saturday after inviting people to donate their trees to the wood pile. ( PHOTOS )
While the main attraction was the fire dancing on pine needles, the cherry on top was the fireworks display that shot in the sky above the hundreds of spectators as the night went on.
