Two acre grass fire now under control
Update: As of 1:00 p.m. fire fighters say the fire is out. Crews are now mopping up hot spots.
The Falcon fire department in on the scene of a two acre grass fire on East Blarney Road.
As of 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, the area of East Blarney Road between Falcon Highway and Garrett Road is shut down for fire operations.
Please avoid the area, and watch out for crews and equipment.
