Falcon girl raises awareness of cancer in national campaign

A Falcon native is one of the faces of St. Baldrick’s Foundation’s national campaign called “Take Childhood Back from Cancer.”

Cheyenne Dyess, 11, was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma in 2015. She was diagnosed after waking up unable to breathe. During her battle with cancer, she is continuing to smile and looking for ways to take back from cancer what she’s already lost of her childhood.

She is advocating on behalf of other kids affected by cancer.
