Traffic signals to be shut off on Manitou Avenue Tuesday

Drivers in Manitou Springs will experience traffic signal shutdown Tuesday, which will allow work crews to reroute an underground conduit for drainage work. Traffic signals at the eastbound Highway 24 off-ramp, Manitou Avenue, and Garden of the Gods Place will be turned off. There will also be no operational left turn signal when exiting the eastbound Highway 24 off-ramp onto westbound Manitou Avenue. A detour has been set up on eastbound Manitou Avenue to Beckers Lane to El-Paso Boulevard to Mayfair Avenue. The signals will be operational again by Jan. 6, 2017.
