Manhunt underway in Colorado Springs

A manhunt is underway in the southeast part of Colorado Springs.

Police tell KRDO NewsChannel 13 they’re searching for two people, including a possibly armed suspect in the area of Airport, Fountain, Jet Wing and Murray. The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black jersey with a red #8.

The search comes as two people were detained in the area of Chapman Drive Friday evening. Police are still searching for two others.

The suspects are believed to be connected to an overnight home invasion where victims were held at gunpoint, police said.

Police want people in the area of Airport, Fountain, Jet Wing and Murray to stay locked inside their homes. You’re asked to call 911 if you see anything suspicious. Also, call CrimeStoppers at (719) 634-STOP if you have any information.
