OSHA investigating after worker rescued from trench in Colorado Springs
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating after a worker had to be rescued from a trench in Colorado Springs Wednesday.
The rescue happened off of Sea Hero Terrace, in a neighborhood near The Broadmoor Hotel, on the southwest side of the city.

OSHA has identified the company involved in the incident as Joe Frei Excavating. It says OSHA investigators responded to the scene, which is standard procedures for incidents such as this one.
OSHA investigators are working to determine if any regulatory violations contributed to the incident.
