Incline repair tracking chart available

A Colorado Springs landscaping company in charge of repairing the Manitou Incline has made following the progress easy.

Timberline Landscaping created a “progress tracker” showing the section of the Incline being repaired, and a timeline for the starting and projected completion dates.

The chart also shows the section that Timberline repaired in the first phase of work two years ago, along with the section of current repairs in the second phase and the final section of repairs to come at a later date.

According to Timberline’s website, the repairs will control erosion and fix trail damage by installing timber steps, timber retaining walls, rock walls and erosion netting.

The popular Incline hiking trail closed Aug. 22 to allow repairs to begin, and is scheduled to reopen in early December.
