Wanted suspect apprehended in Security-Widefield neighborhood

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect wanted on at least 10 felony warrants in a Security-Widefield neighborhood on Tuesday night.

Tyson Dunkle was also wanted on at least four misdemeanor warrants.

The Sheriff’s Office was preventing people from entering the 7000 block of Coral Ridge Drive on Tuesday afternoon while deputies searched for Dunkle.

This was the same man deputies were looking for on Monday around Centennial Elementary School and who led them on a pursuit down Hancock.

No one was injured during the standoff.
