COS Switchbacks, superheroes visit St. Francis Hospital patients

The Colorado Springs Switchbacks are pretty popular with soccer fans in southern Colorado, some of which are too sick to make it to the games.

To make sure those fans didn’t miss out on the fun, some of the players decided to pay them a visit at St. Francis Hospital on Tuesday.

Players paired up with super heroes like Batman and Thor to surprise a few of the patients at St. Francis.

Batman even tested his strength with a game of arm wrestling.

“The biggest thing is to make the world a better place in whatever way we can, providing an experience that people may not always get the chance to have,” said one of the superheroes.

It’s all in anticipation for superhero night that is coming up on Saturday at the Switchbacks stadium at 7 p.m.
