Colorado State Fair goers finding ways to stay dry
With all the recent wet weather, visitors to the Colorado State Fair are finding ways to stay dry.
The fair has been seeing an unusual amount of rainfall this year, more than they are used to.
But even though the rain may put a damper on visiting the fair, there is still plenty of activities to do that are indoors.
The general manager of the state fair says visitors aren’t letting the wet weather affect their day of fun.
“People are pretty patient with it. So, they’ve been hanging with us and they’ve been enjoying the fair, braving the rain and out here enjoying the less,” said Sarah Cummings.
Fair officials recommend that visitors look at the weather forecast in advance to properly prepare for the elements.
