Safety alert: Ford issues three separate vehicle recalls

Ford Motor Company is announcing three different recalls that impact over 100,000 vehicles.

The first recall involves the Ford Taurus and Ford Flex, and the Lincoln MKS and MKT.

The models affected were all made between 2013 and 2015.

The car’s fuel pump control module could fail, causing the engine to not start, or worse, stall without warning while driving.

Also being recalled; about 2,500 Ford Transits made between 2015 and 2016.

That vehicle could have faulty fuel injection pumps.

The third recall is for 23,000 2017 Ford Escapes. Dealers are looking to recalibrate the power window software in the SUVs.
