Victim claims credit card was stolen while hospitalized in COS

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the person responsible for using a stolen credit card at various locations in Colorado Springs.

The stolen credit card was first used to make a small purchase at the Rivon Gas Station located at 4140 US Highway 85/87. Then the suspect charged $564.88 to the card at the Walmart off Venetucci Boulevard. The suspect tried to charge an additional $235 on to the card at Walmart but was denied.

The victim believes the card was taken while she was hospitalized at Penrose Saint Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs.
