Couple wanted for stealing A/C unit out of parked vehicle in Pueblo

The Pueblo Police Department needs the public’s help in identifying two people who they believe stole an air conditioning unit out of a couple’s vehicle.

On June 9, at around 8 p.m., a couple purchased an air conditioner for an elderly relative. The couple parked their vehicle in a handicapped spot at the Lowe’s located at 1225 Highway 50 West. When the couple entered the store, a tan or brown 2000s model Chevrolet or GMC truck pulled up behind the victims’ vehicle and loaded their A/C unit into their truck and drove away.

The man who did the heavy lifting is described as a Hispanic male in his 30’s, slender build with short hair and wearing a striped shirt and blue shorts. The man was accompanied by a pregnant Hispanic female in her 20’s with brown hair and was wearing a brown shirt and black shorts.

If anyone has information on these two is asked to contact Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP (542-7867).
