Arrest made in deadly Colorado Springs crash

A man is facing vehicular homicide and other charges following a deadly crash in Colorado Springs Wednesday night.

Police say that Christopher Roseboom, 45, was arrested Friday (6/17/16).

The crash happened at 10:53 p.m. Wednesday in the 2500 block of N. Chelton Road, on the east side of town.

Police say Roseboom was speeding southbound on Chelton when he lost control and crashed into a tree.

Joshua Roberts, 32, was thrown from the car. He died at the scene. Two other passengers were hurt.

Police say Roseboom ran from the crash scene but was found a few hours later. He suffered serious injuries in the crash and was hospitalized.

Roseboom’s charges include Vehicular Homicide, Hit and Run, Driving under the influence as well as several other traffic related charges.
