Door-to-door search in Fountain ends in arrest of wanted fugitive

After searching door-to-door in the 1700 block of Prado Drive on Wednesday night, the Fountain Police Department finally caught a man believed to be armed and dangerous.

David Christopher Hagen, 29, was arrested at around 7 p.m. after officers searched for him for almost three hours.

Police were called to Bonita Drive at around 3:50 p.m. When they arrived, they saw Hagen in a vehicle and attempted to pull him over. Hagen jumped out of the vehicle and ran from police. He reportedly jumped a fence and was hiding behind residences off Prado Drive.

Officers surrounded the area, advising all that lived there to lock their doors and remain inside. A tactical team was sent to investigate several homes and eventually located Hagen.

Hagen is being charged with Felony Menacing, Felony Criminal Trespass and obstruction.
