Marijuana funded scholarship offered, only three applications submitted

The deadline to apply for the Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation’s marijuana scholarships is approaching fast, and so far it hasn’t received much of a response.

25 scholarships worth $1,000 each are being offered. So far only three applications have been submitted.

The scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors in Pueblo County who plan to attend Pueblo Community College or CSU-Pueblo during the 2016/2017 academic year.
