Drive Smart Colorado helping older adult drivers

A traffic-safety program in southern Colorado that teaches safe driving is focusing on a growing group of drivers, older adult drivers.

Drive Smart Colorado recently put out Colorado’s Guide for Aging Drivers and their Families. It has useful information like a checklist to determine whether a driver is safe to hit the road and information on adaptive devices that make driving at an older age easier.

The guide is available at public libraries and online.
