Colorado Springs teacher charged with sex assault on a child

A teacher at a Colorado Springs school faces felony child sex assault charges after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Police said officers arrested Kenyada Lattimore, 40, on April 14 for sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.

Lattimore worked at the Ambassador Academy, a charter school in Colorado Springs. Police confirmed Tuesday night the victim is a student.
