Bullet strikes Caon City driver

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a driver was shot in Caon City over the weekend.

It’s unclear if Saturday’s shooting was intentional or an accident.

The 31-year-old victim told investigators that he was driving in the north part of the city (a more specific location was not provided) when he heard a loud bang. He soon realized that one of his windows was shattered and he was injured.

The victim drove himself to St. Thomas More Hospital where he is listed as stable.
