Colorado Springs school locked down after armed man seen on campus
Academy School District 20 says Explorer Elementary was placed on lockdown at 3:05 p.m. Monday after a man was seen on campus possibly carrying a weapon.
The lockdown was lifted about 30 minutes later.
Colorado Springs Police have detained the man. It has not been confirmed if he was armed, or if he will face charges.
Students have been dismissed for the day.
