Colorado Springs celebrates Broncos victory

Broncos fans in Colorado Springs celebrated their team’s victory, but the scene on the streets remained calm.

In Denver, police wore riot gear as large crowds celebrated downtown. The celebrations remained peaceful but streets were shut down and traffic was rerouted.

In Colorado Springs, it was a much different scene. There were several police cars patrolling on Tejon Street. However, people kept the celebrations inside bars and house parties.

Bars blasted “We are the Champions” through their speakers as everyone left to go home after the game.

The Denver Broncos beat the North Carolina Panthers 24-10.
