Got a plan for Monday?

Many of us are faced with a decision to make tomorrow: Stay in or head out?

Guys like Blake Morris in Monument aren’t fazed by Colorado snow.

“Most likely I’ll probably go to the grocery store at least, so hopefully I’ll be able to get out for that,” he says.

But others like Paul Palmisano will stay in.

“I’ll be in with some cheap workout equipment tomorrow. I don’t anticipate going out tomorrow, ” he said.

Whether your plans Monday are to head out, or stay in and make it a snow day, it’s a good time to think about preparations.

Robin Adair, with the El Paso County Office of Emergency Management, said the time to plan is now.

“What is your plan if somebody gets stuck? What if you get separated? You need to have those plans in place and you need to go over them. Even if you’ve already made those plans, go over them and make sure everybody remembers what they are,” she said.

If you do have to be out on the roads Monday, give yourself extra time if tonight’s slow traffic is any indication of what’s to come.
