Anonymous vows retalliation against ISIS

“Hactivist” group Anonymous vows revenge against ISIS for the Paris terror attacks and claims to have completed the first step.

Anonymous made the declaration of war in a video released online.

The group claims to have taken down 5,500 Twitter accounts linked to the Islamic group.

One analyst tells ABC News that the group tends to use various tools such as bots, or robot accounts, to identify ISIS-related Twitter handles, for example.

They report the account to Twitter, which deletes it.

“Do you root for the bad guy when they’re doing good?” said Craig Smith, lead investigator at Bright Star Investigations and intelligence expert.

He believes this response was inevitable.

“Sometimes it targets based on what they feel is right and wrong. After Paris they felt it was very wrong,” he said.
