Denver airport security area back open after grenade found

One of Denver International Airport’s security screening areas is back open after an inert grenade prompted an evacuation.

The airport says passengers were moved out of the north screening area at around 10 a.m. Thursday. The airport’s other two screening areas continued to operate during the closure, which lasted about 15 minutes.
