Water main break closes Bijou east of downtown
Water rushed from cracks in the road at Bijou St. and Iowa Ave. in Colorado Springs Tuesday afternoon.
Colorado Springs Utilities says a water main break is to blame. It says Bijou is closed in both directions between Swope and Praire.
The intersection is located between Platte Ave. and Pikes Peak Ave. southeast of the Olympic Training Center.
It’s unknown when the repairs will be fixed.
