Father’s Day at the Pueblo Reservoir

a busy day at the pueblo reservoir. a lot of families taking to the water to celebrate the special dads in their lives. with the holiday traffic and weather- related closures some boaters had to wait it out before they could head out. krdo newschannel 13’s zach pagano spoke with families on the water.  it’s one of life’s simple pleasures… taking time to t unwind and enjoy the open water. might do some fishing. enjoying the nice water levels and the sunshine. tori nordberg is taking her dad for a ride on father’s day. it’s a trip the nordbergs have been looking forward to. just spending time with the family, basically. we work a lot and i work a lot, and it’s just nice to get the family together and spend some together. and on this father’s day… there are p boat loads of families on the water. well we just came to enjoy the dad with family and friends. so many families… some are spending a lot of time together before they even launch. it’s always worth it but it’s like aw man, just want to get out here and it’s hot and i just want to be in the water. despites some delays… families are practicing patience… just like dad taught them. they’re, you know, very influential in your life and role models. i learn a lot from my dad. i’m kind of manlier, you know, i can take care of myself. i have the boat and i do everything on my own and i have him to thank for it. not everyone is worried about waiting around… they just want to spend some time with dad. in pueblo, zach pagano, krdo newschannel 13. heavy rain and high water
