Mobile home residents displaced because of saturated soil

Seven people were displaced Friday, after their mobile homes in Colorado Springs began to sink or slide, because of saturated soil.

Six units in the A-1 Mobile Village on Garner Street were deemed uninhabitable.

The ground has become so saturated because of all the recent rainfall, some of the units are sinking in or sliding off their foundation.

Seven people were displaced. The Red Cross is helping five adults, three dogs and one cat find a place to stay.
