Gloomy Colorado days causing blahs?
Colorado may lose it’s claim to have 300 days of sunshine a year.
Rain across the state is threatening that claim. It’s also threatening our mood.
Our medical expert, Dr. John Torres says gloomy days cause illnesses like upper respiratory or sinus problems, which are typical in the months of January and February. It can also cause a form of depression called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
Torres has three pieces of advice if you think you are developing SAD:
– Realize it’s happening
– When it does get nice, get outside
– Be sure to eat right and exercise
