Manslaughter conviction in 2010 parking lot incident

A man has been convicted of manslaughter in the death of another man who he ran over in a Colorado Springs parking lot.

Tyrone Lyles died after being run over in the parking lot of the Union Station Lounge in the 2400 block of N. Academy Blvd. It happened in 2010.

Cordero Collins, 25, was arrested for the crime in 2014. Police said Collins was already in jail on unrelated charges.

An El Paso County Jury convicted Collins of manslaughter on May 11, 2015.
