Colorado Springs Road Crews Fix About 800 Potholes A Day

Everywhere you turn more and more potholes seem to appear out of thin air.

Colorado Springs road crews have begun working extended hours and even weekends in hopes of getting a leg up on this growing problem.

“Differed maintenance is definitely rearing its ugly head at this point,” said Streets Manager Corey Farkas.

On average eight crews work during the week, with a goal of filling 100 potholes per crew.

The city does encourage you to call and report potholes. You can either call the Colorado Springs Streets Division Monday through Friday or call the pot hole hotline 24/7 at 385-ROAD.
