Kids on Bikes: Giving children a ride

For many of us, it’s our favorite pastime. But some kids in Colorado don’t have the chance to ride a bike. Now a local charity in Colorado Springs is trying to change that.

We talked with kids who didn’t just get a bike, they earned it. It was possible after graduated “Kids on Bikes”. It’s a nonprofit program that requires weeks of classes, perfect attendance and good grades.

If you want to help out kids you can sponsor a child through the “Let’s Pedal earn-a-bike program”
