North Dakota Dominates Tigers 7-2

Mark MacMillan scored two short-handed goals and one of the power play Saturday as North Dakota routed Colorado College 7-2 in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference.

Third-ranked North Dakota had five power-play and two short-handed goals.

MacMillan started the rout with a short-handed goal early in the first period, which ended with UND leading 4-0. He had had five goals in the two-game sweep by UND (3-1-0, 2-0-0 NCHC). He also had two assists.

Defenseman Paul LaDue had two goals and an assist and winger Michael Parks assisted on three goals.

Tucker Poolman and Jordan Schmaltz also had goals for UND.

UND goalie Zane McIntyre made 21 saves. Cody Bradley and Teemu Kivihalme had goals for Colorado College.
