Trader Joe’s taking applications for open positions

The popular grocery store, Trader Joe’s began taking applications for its new location Wednesday.

The store will open October 10 at the University Village Shopping Center at North Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs.

The company is taking applications through Saturday. They can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 5118 North Nevada Avenue, at the University Village Shopping Center.

On Tuesday, at least 500 people had applied. The company isn’t disclosing the number of open positions available.
