Wild winds destroy a livestock shed

Whipping winds and heavy rain caused storm damage near Falcon Friday (7/11/14) evening.

John Roa’s livestock shed, where his horses were hiding from the storm, was flattened. Roa said the wind picked up, pea size hail began to fall and then it rained buckets. He told KRDO he suspected winds were well over 70MPH. Not only did the strong winds destroy the shed and scatter sheet metal for nearly a mile, it also downed power lines.
