Manitou Springs tests emergency siren

Manitou Springs tested its emergency siren at noon Monday, July 7, 2014.

The siren was installed in response to the flood threat that the community faces because of the Waldo Canyon Burn Scar.

The siren can also be used for other emergencies, such as tornado warnings.
