Colorado corrections escapee caught in Texas

A 24-year-old woman who escaped from a corrections facility in Colorado has been captured in Central Texas.

Travis County jail records show Krishawna Coles was being held Saturday without bond pending return to Colorado.

The Colorado State Patrol alerted officers in Lago Vista, about 20 miles northwest of Austin, that Coles might be in the area. She was arrested Friday night during a traffic stop and transferred to the jail in Austin.

Investigators say Coles faces aggravated robbery and drug-related charges in Colorado.

A message left Saturday with the Colorado State Patrol was not immediately returned.
