Denver making its pitch to host GOP convention

Denver is making its pitch to host the Republican Party’s next presidential convention.

Party officials are coming to Denver Monday to check out what the city has to offer. Trains at Denver International Airport are playing a greeting to the team from Mayor Michael Hancock.

Dallas, Cleveland and Kansas City, Missouri are also in the running to host the 2016 convention.
