Springs Police investigate stabbing

Colorado Springs police said a man was stabbed early Friday morning (6/6/14).

Police found the man with a stab wound near South 21st Street and West Cimarron Street around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but he is expected to survive.

The person who called police about the victim told officers he was also assaulted by an unknown suspect, but only suffered minor injuries.

Police said no suspect was located and an investigation is ongoing.
