Severe thunderstorm watch issued for eastern Colorado until 10 p.m.

The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for all of eastern Colorado until 10 p.m.

The watch includes all of southeastern Colorado, including Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Walsenburg, Trinidad, La Junta, Lamar, Springfield, Woodland Park and surrounding areas.

A severe thunderstorm watch means that thunderstorms that are capable of producing damaging wind and hail may develop. Isolated tornadoes are also possible.
