Police arrest 2 after shots fired, car chase

Two people have been arrested following a police car chase after shots were fired in Colorado Springs.

Officers say they heard shots Tuesday night and spotted a car described by witnesses.

Police say after a short chase, the car crashed into a garage and both suspects tried to make a run for it. Both were captured, and no injuries were reported.

Trenton Porter is facing charges of eluding police and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

The passenger, Damen Lewis, is accused of violating his parole and for obstructing a police officer.
