A Pueblo County woman who had more than 60 animals seized from her property in 2012 has been convicted of animal cruelty charges, The Pueblo Chieftain reports.

Valerie Harris, 57, was convicted of seven counts of aggravated animal cruelty and 15 counts of animal cruelty Tuesday (4/8/14).

The Chieftain reports that the jury deliberated for about seven hours over two days before reaching the decision.
