Fire damages Colorado Springs home

Colorado Springs firefighters say one person has been forced out of their home by a house fire.

It happened Sunday (3/23/14) in the 3000 block of Garland Terrance in Colorado Springs. Firefighters said they are searching for a pet that was in the house at the time of the fire.

Fire investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.

There was significant damage in the garage of the home, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
