Fire at abandoned Pueblo building under investigation

Pueblo Police are investigating how an overnight fire at an abandoned building started.

It happened around 1 a.m. Monday (3/3/14) on the east side of Pueblo, in the 400 block of N. Fountain Ave.

Police say there was someone inside the building who tried to run away, but he was caught. He was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but police say the person who was inside the building could face charges for starting the fire once the investigation is complete.
