Victim in Maryland mall shooting has Southern Colorado ties

A woman who Maryland police say was one of two employees shot and killed while working at a mall has ties to Southern Colorado.

Howard County police said Brianna Benlolo, 21, was killed Saturday morning.

Benlolo lives in College Park, Md., but on her facebook page she lists herself as a member of the 2010 class at Sand Creek High School.

Benolo was working atZumiez, which sells skate apparel and accessories.

Police say a man armed with a shotgun opened fire outside the Zumiez before shooting and killing himself.

Tyler Johnson, 25, who also worked at Zumiez was identified as the other person killed in the attack. Five other people were injured.
