Worker who died in downtown fall identified

A construction worker died when a fire escape he was on broke loose and crashed to the ground. It happened at 115 E. Kiowa Street at 1:42 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.

The El Paso County Coroner confirms the man was Pedro Arrazola, 41.

Police say Arrazola fell 15 to 20 feet. He died before he could be taken to the hospital.

The fall is under investigation.
