Man accused of trying to stab son with homemade sword

Caon City Police say a man is facing attempted murder charges after trying to stab his son with a homemade sword during a fight.

Police say that Zillanz Winter Falcon, 51, got into a fight with this son, James Howard Culver, 24, outside of Culver’s home in Fremont County on January 19, 2014.

Investigators say Falcon hit Culver and tried to stab him with a four foot homemade sword. They say Culver responded by hitting Falcon with a rock and then ran inside his house to call police.

An arrest warrant was issued for Falcon on January 20, 2014. He was later arrested at his home in Colorado Springs.

Falcon is facing charges for attempted second degree murder, felony menacing, third degree assault and second degree criminal trespassing.
