Police say drug deal thwarted by downtown surveillance camera
Police say officers arrested a man after a volunteer camera monitor reported seeing a drug deal go down on Tejon Street.
Investigators say it happened at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2014.
The downtown surveillance camera monitor radioed police that there was a man sitting on a planter in front of 3 N. Tejon Street who appeared to be taking part in a drug sale.
Officers found the man and after further investigation, Lonny Pollack, 22, was arrested. Pollack is facing charges for distribution of methamphetamine.
