All lanes are back open on I-25 after a gravel spill overnight

All lanes of southbound I-25 are back open Monday morning after an overnight crash.

The interstate reopened around 2:30 a.m. It was closed for almost two hours.

Colorado Springs police say a truck spilled its load of gravel in the southbound lanes.

It happened at the S. Tejon St. and S. Nevada Ave. exit. The entrance to southbound I-25 from S. Nevada Ave. was also closed.

Colorado Department of Transportation crews helped clean up the gravel and got the highway back open.
