Police search for woman accused of hitting man with car on purpose

Colorado Springs Police have an arrest warrant for a woman whose boyfriend was injured after being hit by a car.

Police said they found the man injured on the road in the 300 block of University Drive around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police believed he was hit intentionally.

After the accident, they obtained an arrest warrant for Second Degree Assault against the man’s girlfriend, Charmain Trujillo, 43. As of Wednesday morning, she had not been arrested.
